If you haven't heard yet, there's a new restaurant in the Uptown 23rd District called Guyutes, and we're serving up a gourmet menu from lunch to late night in a laid back atmosphere. Named after the Phish song, Guyute, the restaurant offers elevated street food made with local ingredients. The kitchen is open until 1:30 a.m. with menu items such as Gimme the Beat hummus, The Disco Biscuit, The Return of the Mac burger, Tequila Sunfryz and The Walfredo Pizza.

Guyutes owners Wayne Perotka and Jarrod Friedel were both born and raised in Oklahoma, and are passionate about keeping it local.

Our Vision

When we started envisioning the business, we knew we wanted to create a comfortable space that imbued an unconstrained ambiance, said Perotka. That vision is reflected on the Guyutes food and drink menu.

The menu is laden with musical references that fans of The Grateful Dead, The Eagles and even Wu Tang Clan will be sure to enjoy. Guyutes also boasts a large rooftop deck with prime views of the up-and-coming Uptown 23rd District, as well as an extensive beer selection. The restaurant offers Saturday and Sunday brunch as well as nightly events including happy hours and movie showings. Guyutes is a hip and trendy Oklahoma City-based restaurant and bar serving elevated street food. The menu offers a variety of gourmet options including appetizers, pizzas, wraps, salads and main courses. Featuring an eclectic soundtrack and large, open rooftop, its the perfect meeting place for groups, a drink after work or dinner with a friend. Guyutes is located at 730 NW 23rd St., and open daily from 11 am. to 2 a.m.
